下のテーブルの Char の部分をコピーし、ユーザー辞書にペースト、登録して呼び出せるようにします。例えば、水の分子式、H2O を書きたいような場合、日本語入力モードで"２"を変換すると、その候補として "₂" が出てくるようにするわけです。手元の Debian や iPhone の日本語入力モードで H₂Oと Twitter に書き込めるようになります (-; ascii モード(アルファベットなどの直接入力、英語入力モードなど)では変換候補をだして選択するという概念がありませんので、日本語入力モードから呼び出せるようにしてください。呼び出す読みは、右の description の最後の部分から変換するようにすると良いでしょう。(例: 読み(日本語入力)５の変換候補として、 ５ -> ⁵ と、 ５ -> ₅ のふたつを追加登録)
